Windknots Profile: Erin Block

At my advanced age, it takes a lot to impress me. Not that I'm so worldly that it's impossible, but my tastes have changed...for the better of course. I'm much more finicky about what I deem valuable. Friends are valuable and are close to the top of my list of important things in life.

Erin Block is one such person. I like and admire her. I'd have to say that I like her because she's a genuinely friendly person with a homespun sense of humor gained honestly from both her mother Sue and father Bryan. I admire her because of her skill as a storyteller and writer and obviously from her fly fishing and tying skills. Erin's list of credentials is impressive and if you haven't read any of her work, you don't know what you are missing.

I am proud to have Erin (and by default, Jay Zimmerman) for a friend. (Just kidding Jay!)
