Windknots Profile: Jack

You know the face looks familiar right? No, it's not Ronald and it's not the King.  It's our very own Jack, CEO of Jack-in-the-Box.

I had the opportunity recently to have a conversation with Jack (no last name necessary) and I think you'll find it interesting.

WK: Besides your interest in fast foods, tell us what else interests you.

Jack: I'm really big into conservation.  Fishing has always been a passion with me. I learned early on that you have to think outside the box, so to speak.

WK: Explain please.

Jack: Our resources are vitally important and we have to use our imaginations when it comes to conserving our resources to preserve what we have before it's too late.  Once our resources are used up, there are no more, whether it's fish, fresh air or whatever. We need to be mindful that we are just temporary guests on the planet.

WK: You ran for president at one time?

Jack:  I did in 1996 and popular polls showed I beat out Clinton and Dole. Unfortunately, I wasn't old enough at the time and there is some law regarding citizenship I had some problems with.  I enjoyed getting on my soapbox and talking to folks about issues and of course food.

WK: What outdoor activities do you participate in?

Jack: I love the outdoors...I fish and camp mostly. I haven't figured out biking yet and I worry about's hard on the parts, if you know what I mean.  Once my box filled with was horrible. I need to make more time to get out more often.

WK: Is there a Mrs. Jack?

Jack: Well, yes there is and she's a doll.  She's an might have seen her in Toy Story.

WK: Your restaurants are very popular, what's next for Jack?

Jack: We've got a new burger coming out soon.  It's called the Obama burger.  It looks good, but has no substance.  Ha! That's an industry joke.

WK: Thank you Jack for making yourself available.
