Glub, glub, glub...

Has anyone else noticed that the noise we fisherman hear periodically. ...That glub, glub, glub on the water sounds eerily similar to the noise that periodically emanates from our stomach when we have...a intestinal disruption?

In hopes of not dragging this post through the, uh...let's say mud,  I've not been well-off my feed so to speak.  Ominous glub sounds, loud enough to wake you at night.  Loud enough to get the dog to barking.  Discomfort that can only have been thought up by Dr. Evil.

I'm not well.  I have a smile on my face, but don't be mislead.  It's frozen in place because it hurts to change to a pout.  Doctors don't know what causes the glubs, although there are several hypotheses.  A new type of food; rich food, spicy food, fried food, burnt food, not burnt food...make your choice.  Eventually, the only sure-fire thing that feels better is when the glubs escape one of several body orifices...separately or all in one fell swoop.  Oh if we only could choose which...and when.

I'm luckier than most non-fishermen.  At least when I hear the glubs, I'm reminded, if only momentarily, of our friend the fish...glub, glub, glub.
